My name is Alanya. I work as a freelance commissioned artist. I typically create murals, pet portraits, custom detailing of clothing and apparel, logos, design work, once even a vending machine… whatever anyone wants, I love an art challenge. Every request is a new way to grow and diversify my skills. It’s a delight!

In my personal work I’m exploring ancient archetypes expressed with pop culture through a tarot deck I’m leisurely creating I call “The Fool’s Journey” and I’m converting a vintage Lazy Daze RV to be off grid. At the end of summer I’m hitting the road and following the Green Book down Route 66.

Along the way I’ll be documenting places still in existence and paying tribute to places lost to us. Along with the kitchy Americana Roadside attractions lives a history of the Black American Dream. There are 2 Americas, I plan to document both of them. Through photography, painting, video, and conversations with people along the road.
