Neverwhere

Pre-Pandemic I used to go to yoga with my sketchbook. I’d get there early, set up my mat, put in my headphones, and listen to an audio book and draw, decompressing from the school day, getting ready to flow.

The winding tale of Neverwhere, as it moves back and forth through London Below and London Above inspired my pen to flow as the author narrated. Years later, as I consider how I want to grow as an artist, I came back to these drawings and thought about how it might be if I were to listen again and recreate a book cover for Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere.

These are pieces from that journey.
